NEW YORK ACTING INTENSIVES
The New York Intensive Programs are designed to introduce both the experienced and inexperienced actor to Lee Strasberg’s Method. These short programs are suitable for university students, working professionals, and those who are only able to attend a short program. These short programs are not eligible for a student visa, so international applicants must be able to attend on a tourist or other visa type that permits this activity. The curriculum is pre-set and always includes two 4-hour Method Acting classes per week in addition to a focused selection of elective classes. All classes are taught by our regular faculty.
Class offerings, schedule, and program dates subject to change at the discretion of the Administration.
INTENSIVE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for the 2 Week Intensives must submit:

Passport-style digital photo for identification purposes.
No transcript or letters of reference required; applicants should skip this section of the online application form! A short interview will be scheduled after application. If admitted, payment in full is required to secure a spot in the program.
Prospective students are encouraged to apply as early as possible as space is limited and programs fill up quickly. There are no application deadlines, but programs will be closed when we stop accepting applications. Admission for all intensives is rolling and closed programs will be updated on this page. Applicant will be notified if the program is almost full or in case of a is a waitlist. Once admitted, tuition is due in full to hold a space in the program. Students must attend an intensive for its duration; taking one week of a 2-week program is not permitted.
